Alan Warshauer brings to Condon & Forsyth over fifty years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong focus on representing clients in construction contract disputes.
Alan litigates in a wide variety of forums: he tries matters in state and federal court, appears before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals and represents clients in arbitrations and mediations administered by such Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entities as the International Chamber of Commerce and the American Arbitration Association, to name a few. Owners, general contractors, subcontractors, design engineers and suppliers seek Alan’s advice as both plaintiffs and defendants facing high stake matters involving tens and hundreds of millions of dollars, often where the essential viability of the client itself may be impacted.
Alan’s representative matters include numerous successful defenses against claims of engineering and design defects at private and public power plants (fossil, solar, wind and biomass) and chemical plants. He has also assisted clients through complex disputes arising out of specialty construction projects throughout North and South America, including a gold refinery, a continuous nitrocellulose manufacturing facility, a lithium mine and at sand recovery plants.
