To our valued clients and friends,
The ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to affect communities and businesses around the world. We wanted to share with you the actions we are taking as a firm to ensure that our operations remain uninterrupted during these unprecedented circumstances and to reassure you of our continuing availability to serve your legal needs, while protecting the health and safety of our people and their families.
Two weeks ago, we started to prepare for the possibility of having to transition to a partial or full remote work environment if the circumstances warranted it. We are fortunate that we already had the necessary tools and technology in place so that any such adjustment would be uninterrupted and our attorneys and professional colleagues could continue to provide our clients with the best possible advice and support. Simultaneously, we actively monitored developments in the U.S. and abroad, paying particular attention to the guidance being issued by government and other public health and safety officials.
In an effort to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 developments, on March 12, we decided to implement our plan and transition to having all attorneys and staff in all offices to begin working remotely at the start of business on Friday, March 13. That transition has now taken place. While our physical office locations remain open and available for use by our attorneys and clients if necessary, we will operate remotely as a firm until further notice. All normal means of communications with our attorneys remain unchanged and we continue to be available to serve your needs.
We appreciate how unsettling the current situation is and we are committed to providing you with uninterrupted support during this difficult and uncertain time. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of us. Our thoughts are with you, your families, and your communities.
We are committed to getting through this together.
