Chadwick T. Medders

Chad’s primary focus is on aviation accident investigation and litigation.

In addition to practicing at Condon & Forsyth, he is an active commercial pilot. Chad currently serves as a Boeing 757 and 767 pilot at United Airlines. He has also flown the Airbus 319 and 320 for United. Chad previously served as a pilot for JetBlue Airways, flying Airbus 320 and 321 aircraft. Chad holds an Air Transport Pilot License with type ratings on the B757, B767, A320, and CL-65 aircraft, as well as multiple instructor licenses. Throughout Chad’s aviation career, he has acquired over 15,000 flight hours as an airline pilot and flight instructor. In his aviation practice, Chad assists the firm’s airline and manufacturing clients in accident litigation, mass-disaster litigation, NTSB accident investigations, and aviation product liability litigation.

Chad is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and obtained a certificate with distinction from the National Center for Remote Sensing, Air and Space Law. During that time, Chad also clerked for the FAA Regional Counsel’s Office (Great Lakes Division), and the International Aviation Law Institute at DePaul University.  He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2013.
