Mirin’s practice encompasses all aspects of aviation, insurance, product liability, and commercial litigation matters.
Mirin represents aviation and aerospace companies, including domestic and international airlines and aircraft manufacturers, component part manufacturers, and other entities in federal and state courts in Washington, New York, and throughout the U.S.
Mirin has experience analyzing insurance policies and contracts, as well as investigating coverage claims and disputes for aerospace insurers. With a concentration in cargo shipment disputes, Mirin also has experience litigating claims governed by the Montreal Convention and other international treaties and U.S. aviation statutes.
Mirin is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law where she was an Associate Editor of the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law and Alumni Relations Chair for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. During law school, Mirin served as an in-house legal intern on the corporate and transactions team of a private international distribution company.
Upon graduating, she received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award for her time as an extern at the New York Police Department – Department Advocate’s Office and as a judicial intern for a Judge in the Kings County Supreme Court. Prior to law school, Mirin was an analyst on the capital markets and securities team at Practical Law.
Mirin is a member of the New York City Bar Association and the Asian American Bar Association of New York. She is admitted in both New York and Washington.
