Diana Gurfel Shapiro moderated a panel discussion about the opportunities and challenges presented by the FAA’s Final Rule on the Operation and Certification of Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) at the New York City Bar Association on September 15, 2016. The panel included an aviation insurance industry leader, the founder of a company that provides on-demand UAS insurance coverage through a mobile application, and an established UAS service solutions specialist. The panel was hosted by the NYCBA’s Aeronautics Committee which is chaired by Allison Surcouf.
