Eli’s practice is primarily focused on aviation accident investigations and litigation.

Eli represents air carriers and other clients in cases involving mass air disasters, wrongful death, personal injury, cargo damage and loss, aircraft ground accidents, breach of contract, regulatory enforcement, product liability and employment issues. Eli has been recognized as a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in the field of Aviation & Aerospace for the New York Metro Area (2022-2023).

Prior to joining the firm, Eli worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department in the Special State Law Enforcement Defense Unit, where he handled a large caseload of civil rights cases from pleadings to trial, including having taken some to verdict.

Eli is a graduate of Emory University School of Law.  He was a Notes and Comments Editor for Emory International Law Journal, where he authored an article on establishing international safeguards for certain mining industries. Eli’s clinical work experience includes having prepared an environmental lawsuit for the D.C. Court of Appeals.  He also placed second at the inaugural Clara Barton International Humanitarian Law Competition.

Eli served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Raymond J. Dearie of the Eastern District of New York.
