Diana concentrates on commercial litigation, mass tort, and product liability with a particular focus on complex disputes.
Diana’s practice spans all aspects of international aviation law, products liability, and commercial litigation. She represents foreign air carriers, aircraft lessors, and aircraft purchasers in complex commercial matters; advises clients in litigation arising from major aviation accidents; assists parties navigating the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigative process; counsels operators on crisis communications; and represents clients in federal investigations.
Diana is known for her strategic and hands-on approach to case development and ability to shape the direction of complex, fact-intensive litigation. Her recent engagements include serving as trial counsel for FlyNYON, a doors-off helicopter company, in litigation arising from the fatal crash of an Airbus 350B2 helicopter and representing airlines, operators, and pilots in commercial litigation arising from the Boeing 737 MAX grounding.
Diana has a longstanding interest in the application of technology to litigation and has significant experience handling large-scale discovery. She led major discovery efforts in the September 11th, American Airlines Flight 587, and Colgan Air Flight 3407 multi-district litigations and participated in the development of early computer-assisted review tools.
Diana is consistently recognized by Who’s Who Legal: Transport – Aviation Contentious. She is highly recommended for her work by The Legal 500 U.S., Transport: Aviation and Air Travel – Litigation and recognized as a Key Lawyer. She has served on the International Aviation Women’s Association Board of Directors and Advisory Board since 2009.
Prior to joining Condon & Forsyth, in 2001, Diana served as Principal Court Attorney to the Honorable Bernard J. Fried, Supreme Court, New York County.
